This fast casual resto provides very good food and fuels you for the rest of your day / evening.
I ordered Marvins burger which is a double smash burger with american cheese. This had the perfect griddle sear that was fatty and salty. The meat to brioche bun ratio was excellent. The pickles and onion gave it the crunch and tart texture to compliment the burger. The portion was just right for a full meal, not too oversized. The fries was crispy, thin and hot.
The ambiance was a bit dark at the bar area, the outdoor seating during evening hours had much more lighting, if thats your preference.
Definitely going to try their brunch sometime in the future. Love the location in the Fulton Market area.
We had the best time here playing a Secret Sofar show. The staff were excellent to us and everyone who came to the event. Stunning murals outside of the space as well that are well worth taking the time to check out and the enclosed rooftop was exactly what the moment needed.
Bonus points for having top of the line security at this place. Richard was very cool to us.
We’ll be back to have a proper meal sometime.
Cheers
My fav happy hour place! Minutes from the green line (Morgan stop) and great indoor/outdoor space. The prices are just right and the food is yummy. So happy they have more than one vegan option, so far I’ve had the jerk cauliflower (my favorite) Brussel, sprouts (very yummy!) and fried dill pickles (tasty!)
The drinks are strong and well made, I’ve had the happy hour old fashion, the rye-day old fashion, margarita, cloud watching and shot of the day (strawberry mezcal, mint, strawberry mezcal, mint, cucumber). Everyone is very friendly, so glad a woman in a shop I was in recommended this place!
Crispy chicken sandwich with a mildly spicy maple aioli was delicious. The carrots were really delightful! And the brandy beverage that I can't remember the name of was refreshing.
Brussels sprouts were tasteless!
Staff was really friendly and very helpful!
First, I specifically ordered non-spicy drink. I got it more spicy than I’ve ever tasted any. Explanation from the server was that it had been pre-made so she couldn’t do anything about it. Easy fix would be to mention that right after I said “not spicy”. I couldn’t drink it and the server couldn’t care less.
Second, I ordered salad (because their menu midday is 5 items - which is fine) arugula was yellow and contained 80% of the salad. I couldn’t eat half. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the fries were great. Bad service, food and drinks. Not coming back for sure.
They should tell you that it's a late night menu at the door. It's only like 5 items and it's not that great if you are sober. Food is salty and made for people who are already buzzed.
I don't think we would be back
This is our neighborhood joint, and I can’t say enough good things about the food, the drinks, the bartenders, the servers, the hosts, and the owners Larry and James. I especially appreciate the mix of vegetarian (pulled mushroom sandwich!) and carnivorian (skirt steak!) options for split-houses like mine. Definitely stop by for the rotating monthly sandwich series and support a good cause. Bring your floofers to the open dining tents. Or even just wander buy to pick up a drink from the sidewalk bar and throw some bags. Just make sure to politely bow to Macho Man in the washroom and save the end two bar seats by the window - they are reserved. ;-)
Had a great meal there! A Fulton market district gem! They are so creative with their cocktails, like their Coconut Daiquiri. So many vegetarian items like Mushroom Burger and amazing dessert - basque cheesecake which is made in-house! Love the vibe too!
